Created as a tribute to Ángeles — the mother of the Luis Cañas family — the name Amaren means “from the mother” in Basque, reflecting a philosophy built on care, legacy, and authenticity.

The winery focuses on expressive wines born from old vineyards and careful viticulture, combining traditional Rioja knowledge with contemporary winemaking techniques.
