Seven meters deep, beneath a 17th-century palace, in the heart of the medieval town of Laguardia, lies Bodega El Fabulista. A special corner where the prestigious fabulist Félix María Samaniego once lived. Within the walls, El Fabulista is one of the largest and most spectacular of all the underground wineries in Laguardia, as well as one of the few where wine is still produced traditionally and artisanally, using the carbonic maceration method.
