UDON’s journey began in 2004, driven by curiosity, a love for travel, and an appetite for new flavours. Along the way, the founders fell in love with Asian culture and its rich culinary heritage — a fascination that remains just as strong today. Inspired by the flavours, aromas, and vibrant colours of Asian cuisine, they opened the first UDON in Barcelona’s Born district, introducing Spain to the concept of the traditional Asian “noodle bar,” a culinary institution with over 400 years of history.
At UDON, we celebrate the essence of Asian cuisine — healthy, balanced, and deeply nourishing. Our philosophy is simple: health meets flavour. We honour age-old recipes, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and every dish is cooked to order — just the way we love to eat.
